Season’s greetings, ladies and gentlemen!  December is coming to an end-at least for the blog anyways-and that means it’s time to reveal the Character of the Month of December, which will also be the final Character of the Month of the year.  This month’s character was a little difficult to decide.  I had only two shows and two great characters to go on.  But as difficult as it was, I finally picked one.  So let’s talk a little about this month’s and this year’s final Character of the Month: Yuichiro Hyakuya from Seraph of the End . Since I just reviewed Seraph of the End last week, I’ll be brief on the synopsis of the show.  After a mysterious virus nearly wipes out humanity, Yuichiro Hyakuya-also simply known as Yu- and his friends live under the control of vampires.  Yu manages to escape, but at the cost of losing his friends to the vampires.  After this tragedy, Yu vows to kill all of the vampires to avenge his friends.  Several years...

Who Says Vampires Can’t Take Over the Holidays?: Seraph of the End

Greetings, peoples!  I’m back this week for the last review of the month and of 2015!  Wrapping things up this week is a 2015 show that would seem to be more fitting for Halloween than Christmas.  But still, as the title suggests, who says vampires can’t take over the holidays-at least for a week anyways?  So that much said, let’s get on with this week’s review on the sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, vampire-rampant Seraph of the End . After a mysterious pandemic kills every human being above the age of fourteen, vampires and other strange creatures now control the earth and humanity is at the end of its rope.  Humans are now treated like animals and harvested for blood by the vampires.  Young Yuichiro and his friend Mikaela don’t plan to put up with the situation for much longer and plot an escape.  However, the escape ends tragically.  Although Yuichiro manages to escape the vampires’ entrapment, his freedom costs him the lives of his friends....

Season’s greetings, ladies and gents!  December is here and that not only means Christmas is almost here, but also a new month of anime reviews!  But, this month’s reviews will be the last reviews of 2015.  So much like last year, December will be a relatively short month.  There is some other important information that I do need to share, but I’ll save that for the end-it’s not a proposal, rest assured.  This week’s review is on, once again, a new 2015 show.  And although I’ve barely dove in to this show, I’d still like to review it while my feet are still wet.  So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s review on The Heroic Legend of Arslan . In The Heroic Legend of Arslan , also known as Arslan Senki, the kingdom of Pars has reigned supreme for some time with power, slaves, and an invincible army.  Arslan, the crown prince of Pars, is the focus of the story.  After witnessing the horrendous defeat of Pars’s army and fall of his father, ...
