Hanime on Anime

Greetings ladies and gentlemen!  I have to admit I failed to look at a calendar this month, because I apparently failed to realize that today would be the last Sunday of June, and yet I proudly announced last week that I would be doing a re-review for this week’s post.  Oops.  But don’t worry, that post is still on the schedule, just for next week!  Anyways, back to this week’s post.  So it’s been pretty obvious that Attack on Titan was the running theme for June.  After all, season two has been streaming for the past few months now, so it’s been a big deal lately.  And I can definitely say this season has made me change my feelings towards the show, mostly because of two characters.  So it made no sense to me to just pick one for Character of the Month.  So enough rambling and let’s talk about this month’s Characters of the Month: Reiner and Bertholdt from Attack on Titan (WARNING: This post will contain spoilers if you haven’t watched season two yet!)! Greetings, fabulous peoples!  I’m back this week with my promised re-review!  In keeping with the Attack on Titan theme I’ve got going here, I decided to take another look at the comical rendition of the famed anime series, Attack on Titan Junior High .  And to be honest, I think I’ll get right to the point. This hilarious show takes your favorite AOT characters and puts them in the stereotypical of all anime settings: middle school.  The series shows how these characters survive middle school troubles and maybe a fight a few titans here and there.  And that’s pretty much all you need to know. The last time I reviewed this show I used my old ranking system.  Having gone back and watched it, I still think it’s funny, but there are one or two things that I thought were glaring issues.  So I give Attack on Junior High a 7.5 out of ten.  If you’re an Attack on Titan fan, then this show makes a perfect complement to the original’s dark tone.  The lighthearted tone makes a perfect cont

     Greetings, fabulous people of the Internet!  If you haven't read the title already, today I'll be making a huge announcement in place of my usual posts today-though admittedly this is because I'm a little behind on watching some new shows for reviewing.  But still, in light of a certain show's second season premier, I think that now would be a good time to bring this up.  This Thursday, June 8, I'll be doing a new segment of Hanime on Anime called Talkative Thursdays.  As the title indicates, I'll be doing a video chat on an anime show on Thursday.  Pretty simple, right?  And for my first Talkative Thursday topic, I'll be talking about the show that pretty much every anime nerd is talking about: Attack on Titan.  For the video I'll be talking about my recent rediscovery of season one, my adventures in season two, and maybe a few spoilers for those of you haven't gotten caught up just yet.  Oh, by the way, this new segment will also be a preview
