Characters of the Month of September?

O.K., I’ve been doing some thinking.  I had a hard time trying to pick this month’s Character of the Month.  There were a few good characters that hadn’t already won the title that I really loved. It was so hard to choose!  So, after some long, hard thinking, I decided to pick all of them (hey, this is my month of favorites and it is my blog, so I think I’m entitled to call most of the shots here)!  This month, the title will be shared by three characters!  That is, one of each from the three posts in my event of favorite characters.  And those characters are…


Cynthia (Pokemon franchise)


The Major (Hellsing Ultimate)



Sesshomaru (Inuyasha)


And since I’ve already explained why I like these characters so much in all three of my posts, I think I’ll skip that part and end this week’s post here (I know, it’s a really short post, but still, I don’t have any more that I could say).  So congratulations Cynthia, the Major, and Sesshomaru, cause you’re all Hanime on Anime’s Characters of the Month of September!  Starting next week, I’ll be doing my usual horror-themed month of reviews for October!  Until then, stay tuned for more!  And as always, let me know if you have a request!

Welcome to Hanime on Anime!

Greetings all and welcome to Hanime on Anime, the blog for otakus by a fellow otaku herself!  To give you all a sum of what to expect from this sight, Hanime on Anime is a blog that does weekly posts on every Sunday on anime and anime related topics.  The posts, for now, will consist of anime reviews, but I hope to do other things like discussions on anime themes and countdowns of my bests in anime. Character of the Month of April: Shoya Ishida and Shoko Nishimiya

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I think you saw this one coming.   I’m back this beautiful Sunday with this month’s Character- or Characters of the Month!   And yeah, if you read the title, I think it’s pretty obvious who was going to take it.   Cause let’s face it The End of Evangelion’s Shinji wasn’t going to take it anytime soon, especially not after the hospital scene.   But still, all kidding aside, I think this month’s picks really are worthy of the title, not just in their actions, but what they represent.   That being said, let’s talk about this month’s Characters of the Month of April, Shoya Ishida and Shoko Nishimiya from A Silent Voice . To keep things brief and less long-winded, A Silent Voice follows Shoya Ishida and Shoko Nishimiya as the two form a close friendship with each other despite the fact that the two shared a rough past.   With Nishimiya being deaf, this made her a target for bullying by Ishida as a child.   But when his bullying goes too far and Nishimiya
