O.O That's all.:Overlord

Greetings, earthlings!  The first day of November is here, which means it’s time for a new month of new reviews.  And today’s new review is on a new show that came out earlier this year.  Let me just say, you won’t believe what you see.   Believe me.   Just take a look at the picture.  I couldn’t even come up with a catchy title.  Anyways, let’s get started on this week’s review on the summer 2015 hit, Overlord.
In 2126, a player on the popular Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game Yggdrasil cherishes his last few moments as the game’s server is being shut down.  The player, known as Momonga, quickly realizes that something is wrong when he still finds himself in the game once the server is shut down.  Not entirely sure of what is going on, he starts to dig for information about the world of Yggdrasil to hopefully find the answer to the bizarre situation.  However, with the help of the guild he runs within the game and his own remarkable, God-like abilities, he certainly doesn’t have anything to worry about.  Still, his search for information takes him beyond the walls of his guild’s headquarters and into a war between battling kingdoms as well as into the hands of an unknown enemy, but again, that shouldn’t be a problem for Momonga.  Seriously, look at him!
I’ll admit, I’m not that very far into Overlord.  Still, what I’ve seen so far has been pretty interesting.  That being said, I give Overlord four out of five stars.  What probably grabbed my attention the most was animation.  Overall, it’s pretty well done, especially with Momonga.  Again, look at Momonga!  Story wise, I can’t really say much.  Considering I’m only halfway through the series, there’s still a lot that’s not known.  But I will say it is pretty interesting so far.  So in general, it’s pretty good.
But, despite how “pretty good” it is, there is one problem I did find.  Well, it’s not so much a problem as it is something to keep in mind.  It takes some time for the story to pick up.  It’s not by much, but some viewers may be a bit impatient with the starting pace of the show.  Still, I wouldn’t let that discourage someone to watch the show.  Again, look at Momonga!  A show with a main character that looks that epic and have the power to match would have no point of existing if you weren’t watching it.
I only have three words: Look at…you get the idea.  Anyways, if it sounds of interest, Overlord is available to watch online on Funiamtion and Hulu.  As far as a dub goes, it may be a possibility considering its rights are owned by Funimation.  Still, that doesn’t mean that I know for certain if there will be a dub, but it’s something to keep posted on.  Anyways, that’s all I have for this week.  Be sure to stay tuned for more because next week I’ll be reviewing another new show from the 2015 lineup!
