Hanime on Anime

Greetings, one and all!  I have returned this week with my usual blogging to reveal March’s Character of the Month!  And really, it shouldn’t be any surprise who got the title because I only reviewed one show this month.  So I’ll just skip the fancy intro and get straight to the meat and talk about this month’s Character of the Month, Tanya von Degurechaff from Saga of Tanya the Evil ! Tanya’s beginning actually starts at the end of a Japanese businessman’s life.  In the seconds before his death, said businessman is offered a second chance at life by a mysterious being simply known as Being X.  The businessman is reincarnated as a young orphan girl named Tanya.  Coincidentally, Tanya possesses magic powers that allow her to enter the army as a mage.  From there, she quickly climbs the ranks as a fierce and merciless soldier.  But she does get some less-than appreciated help from Being X. Greetings, devote readers!  Flashback February 2017 has come to an end, and that means it’s time to reveal Flashback February’s Character of the Month!  And let’s face it, this month’s character was a given.  I really don’t need to say more.  So let’s get on and talk about this month’s Character: Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell (and yes, I’ve finally realize I’ve been saying her name wrong all this time, oops.) Hello, everyone!  If you've been keeping up with the Flashback February events so far, today I was supposed to do my first Live Video Response.  Obviously, that's not happening today.  If you live in the southern U.S. like I do, the flu has been rampant.  While I'm hoping that this is not what's going on, but I have come down with something-fingers crossed it's strep or a sinus infection.  And while there really should be no reason not to continue with the post as scheduled and I have no problem doing it while sick, I feel that it's best that I relax and try to get better. Greetings, fellow citizens of the Internet!  Valentine’s Day may be around the corner, but that won’t stop me from doing part two of Flashback February.  I couldn’t give enough love to this show-you’ll get what I mean a little later-, but I did what I could to give it one heck of a review!  So enough of the chit-chat and let’s get on with this week’s review on The Irresponsible Captain Tylor ! In this sci-fi action/comedy, twenty year-old Justy Ueki Tylor (or simply referred to as Tylor) has no idea what to do with his life.  He goes to the United Planets Space Force to find work.  But after getting involved in a hostage situation with a high ranking officer, he gets lucky-ish and obtains command of a destroyer called the Soyokaze.  What makes it lucky-ish is that the Soyokaze is considered to be the dumping ground of the United Planets Space Force in terms of crew members.  But it doesn’t take long for the rag-tag crew to get involved with the Raal...
