Hanime on Anime

Hello, fabulous people of the Internet!  Though it may not be the end of July just yet, it’s time to reveal this month’s Character of the Month.  As I mentioned last week, I’ll be off on my yearly visit to MechaCon next Sunday, so there won’t be a post then.  Then again, this is something of an annual thing, so I don’t think it should be much of a surprise.  Anyways, let’s talk about this month’s Character of the Month: Akito Hyuga from Code Geass: Akito the Exiled. Hello, hello, everybody!  I’ve managed to get all caught up on my schoolwork, plus it’s given me an opportunity to look into a newly released OVA that had been on my radar for a while now.  If you regular readers of mine will recall, last April I reviewed the smash hit show Code Geass .  As it turns out, the show had become so popular that it created a spin off.  Hence this week’s review.  So without any further adieu, sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s review on Code Geass: Akito the Exiled ! Hello, hello, ladies and gentlemen!  July is here and so is Sunday, and that means it’s time for some more stuff from yours truly.  While many of you would expect to see a fresh new review at the start of the month, I decided to look back on one show that I think needs another chance at reviewing.  Then again, if you remember two weeks ago, I pretty much talked about this post.  And if you haven’t read the title already, I’ll be looking at the one hit wonder itself.  So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s re-review on One Punch Man ! My last review left One Punch Man at only three episodes. Greetings ladies and gentlemen!  I have to admit I failed to look at a calendar this month, because I apparently failed to realize that today would be the last Sunday of June, and yet I proudly announced last week that I would be doing a re-review for this week’s post.  Oops.  But don’t worry, that post is still on the schedule, just for next week!  Anyways, back to this week’s post.  So it’s been pretty obvious that Attack on Titan was the running theme for June.  After all, season two has been streaming for the past few months now, so it’s been a big deal lately.  And I can definitely say this season has made me change my feelings towards the show, mostly because of two characters.  So it made no sense to me to just pick one for Character of the Month.  So enough rambling and let’s talk about this month’s Characters of the Month: Reiner and Bertholdt from Attack on Titan (WARNING: This post will contain spoilers if you haven’t watched...

Greetings, fabulous peoples!  I’m back this week with my promised re-review!  In keeping with the Attack on Titan theme I’ve got going here, I decided to take another look at the comical rendition of the famed anime series, Attack on Titan Junior High .  And to be honest, I think I’ll get right to the point. This hilarious show takes your favorite AOT characters and puts them in the stereotypical of all anime settings: middle school.  The series shows how these characters survive middle school troubles and maybe a fight a few titans here and there.  And that’s pretty much all you need to know. The last time I reviewed this show I used my old ranking system.  Having gone back and watched it, I still think it’s funny, but there are one or two things that I thought were glaring issues.  So I give Attack on Junior High a 7.5 out of ten.  If you’re an Attack on Titan fan, then this show makes a perfect complement to the original’s dark tone....
